So it’s done and dusted finally. A black day for the Soldiers of Destiny. Outfoxed on all accounts it’s hard to find even the smallest morsel of comfort.
The Western corridor has been cruelly neglected and the division of ministries is erroneously lobsided. The selection of that political opportunistic nomad Donnelly to cabinet is the final straw, hopefully Health will quash his aspirations.
The future is bleak. FG have the wind in their sails, their big performers are in relatively comfortable portfolios and they’ve banked the C-19 credits.
Sinn Féin have the angry vote, have avoided all and any responsibility and should hold their own next time out, 40 seats is achievable for them.
I’m actually fucking seething with Martin and his naked grab for office.
Timmy has been working for a neighbour of mine the past few weeks , drylining an industrial unit for a refit. You wouldn’t think he’d be short of money but it appears otherwise.
His desperation to be Taoiseach has destroyed FF. FG preyed on that and took him to the cleaners. FF now has a few big names out to get him he will barely last a year.
Ye stand for nothing at the minute Boxty, and the party is full of very uninspiring heads. Ye’d want to address it shortly or Micky Martin will be the last Taoiseach ye ever have
There’s the problem right there. I described them last night as glorified County Councillors and that holds true today. Uninspiring leadership, unable to attract the necessary outside talent and sticking with dynastic dinasours (Collins, MacSharry, Calleary etc)
