Well we are much closer to Election 2.0 2020. This is going to be epic. Sinn Fein/IRA got an armchair ride in 1.0 but it will be very different this time round. Itās going to get very dirty.
Itās gonna get propa nasty. There will be long-forgotten Tweets from 2012 pulled out left right and centre.
+1. Youāre at absolutely nothing if you havenāt completed an industrial scale cleaning of your social media profiles (believe me, I know). Thatās bare minimum stuff. The more astute should be trying to make things right with the family of lads/lassies killed by the ra.
Remember to recognize ANY question asked of a SF candidate for what it really is, pure, unapologetic, racism
Would there be any folk tunes SF candidates could learn that will go down well with all communities on the island? Dessie Ellis could be singing Irelandās Call in the RDS in the summer.

Iām advised from a few camps that the most likely outcome now is another General Election
Victory is ours
Agree with this. Not that straightforward though if in negative equity. Would make sense for a policy whereby you could lease to local authority for 10 years for say 80% of mkt rent but full tax relief on rent. Would encourage a lot more rental to where it is needed
Not a bad idea in concept
What an absolute bollox
That would just push the individually wealthy back into the rental market, and drive house prices mental. Full tax relief on 80% and a guaranteed 10year lease paid for by the taxpayer??
A guaranteed 10 year lease at 80% of the market rentā¦
There are upmarket areas in Limerick?
Itās been answered further along. The STV system was allowing scallywags annex seats using transfers. It was a vehicle to cement your arse to the DĆ”il chamber in perpetuity.
What kind of deals can you get now if you rent it to the council for ten years? Iām considering it myself whenever my current tenant moves out. I havenāt put up his rent in 5 years as heās a good tenant and itās covering my mortgage.
Explain how that worked??
As far as I can see the hardcore FFers are being sidelined here by those entrusted with decision making ie. TDās. These scions of dubious dynasties are trenchent in their attitude to participating in an administration with SF.
Lads Iāve spoken with were universally agreeable to an arrangement with SF and possibly the Greens. Why this negativity is being spouted by TDās is a mystery to me.
SF are a Republican party, an addendum attaching to FF for generations. Bates me.
Fair play to them youād have to say.
