Id say it varies from one local authority to another. I have heard recently of cork co co leasing a few properties for 20 years on FRI basis but rent is tagged at 70% of mkt rate or somethingā¦and the property has to meet a fairly stringent test before they take it so you might need to spend a few quid to get it right. But its a good dealā¦but you still have the issue around tax which just becomes more pronounced annually as your debt reduces

yeah - we didnt get too much hassle in fairness apart from them running riot the odd thursday night and the associated management company complaints - had a gas boiler go and what not which was 2k,
