Seems like a dickhead of an instructor trying to sound smart.
Not even to rifle through their belongings?
Gosh no, she was excellent. Yes we were all there doing our best to assess and pick the right rotation to attend to those hurt while summoning the emergency services. There was 16 of us, including 2 Gardai. It was one of the Gardai that said when it came to his turn - “Lads, ye did yer best but ye’re all dead at this stage” - they wouldnt even stop to assist. They would call it in and begin closing the stretch of motorway and not until the Fire Brigade has the site made safe would anyone else be allowed onto the scene.
In any Frist Aid scenario site safety comes first.
dont help isnt much help mate
Real life mate
They would proceed in the vehicle
Is there anything about @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy’s posts that suggests he is well acquainted with real life?
I’m searching but I still haven’t found what I’m looking for

Anyone on the M7, you might wanna avoid the toll at Portlaoise. It’s on fire.
Seems to be a truck gone on fire an hour or so ago in the bridge. Think the worst of it might be over though.
Stuck on the west bound lane of the M7 outside Birdhill for the last 45 minutes. Seemingly road has been closed over an hour due to what I assume is an accident. Anyone travelling that way would be advised to turn off at Nenagh and go the old road.
I was coming up the M11 last night when I came upon a car traveling at about 100 kph in the fast lane. Not wishing to chance undertaking it in the slow lane, I went up behind it and flashed the lights. The driver dutifully moved into the slow lane and I passed it. The car then moved back into the fast lane and continued on its merry way.
Still no budge here. Ambulance only passed up through the traffic 10 mins ago so looks like we’ll be here for a while yet
A fairly common behaviour I’ve observed on our motorways and one I cannot get my head around.
Family van? Same happened to me on m11 during the week.
VW Golf.
Bad crash northbound on M7 three km past Kildare exit. Car wedged into barrier/hedge separating north and south bound lanes. Fire brigade has had to cut the roof off. Diversions in place. Traffic at a standstill in Kildare Town as a result.
Just passed it on opposite side. Looked very bad. Traffic stopped back to Junction 14
