3-4-2-1 formation for me
A pair of tens or a pair of eights, mate?
Why would you play three at the back against a side like Gibraltar? Complete waste having three centre halves against a side which will park the bus and have pretty much everyone behind the ball.
We will definitely go with 4 at the back and with 2 wingers for this. Will we play with 2 up top or more of a 4-2-3-1 but i think given that it is Gibraltar I think a more orthodox 4-4-2, almost 4-2-4 will be deployed and the 4-2-3-1 used against Georgia
Pair of 10s, pal
4-4-1-1. Two banks of four. Make ourselves difficult to break down. Long balls for Long to chase. Hopefully nick one on the counter.
Do we even have one 10?
Discussing tactics for a match against Gibraltar
“Lads, its Gibraltar”
Teamtalk over.
Shane Long is out of the Gibraltar game after injuring himself yesterday.
Who is likely to play up front now?
The fans of Glasgow Celtic on this forum will caution against taking a team from Gibraltar lightly . Especially in a league situation when dropping point would be awful . Glasgow Celtic has the second leg to make up the deficit .
That was that arrogant prick Brendan Rodgers not knowing the first thing about European football. I can’t imagine Big Mick making the same mistake.
Is Seanie McGuire fit?
All of them I’d hope.
*Maguire.
Maguire and McGoldrick will be upfront.
By the end of this glorious campaign when their goals have fired us into the Euros, the front pairing will affectionately be known as the MnMs.

It should be laughable but based on recent years it’s probably better to be safe than sorry. Netting one from a set-piece should do it.
2000 capacity, tickets really will be like gold dust for this.
