Giddy

I just realised I promised someone I’d do something for them at 12. They rang me at 11:55 to remind me, and I only just remembered it now. Oh well :pint:

You have a drink problem mate

I wouldn’t say that. He seems to like it by the looks of things.

I probably wont touch a drop until after New Years i’d say, most likely Feb/March.

March 1st for me.

Drink is a dogs game. Im looking forward to the clarity of it all.

I’m not really giddy yet. I had the option of post work pints with two different factions but it didn’t really appeal so I sauntered on home. I’ll go for a spin on the bike in a while and crack open a bottle or two of Brooklyn Lager later on to wind down. I’ll be very giddy tomorrow lunchtime though - I’m going to have around 20 pints of Beck’s when I get out of work.

Pubs around this time of year are a jokeshop… Every cunt is acting the cunt and your expected to be happy about it.

That’s why the 12 Pubs shit sickens me - the sheer cuntology of participants. Although there’s plenty of people who don’t even engage in that charade but up their cuntery all the same. Some cunt tried to rob my jacket in the pub last weekend, for example. I was chatting to Aido down in The 51 at lunchtime and he said a pack of 12 Pubs pricks had obviously selected The 51 last night as the pub to steal/break stuff according to their pathetic list of rules. A gang of them ripped soap dispensers and hand driers off the wall in the jacks and ran out with stools, Christmas decorations and all sorts.

What an abomination of cuntbags

Forgot to mention that a few of the barmen ran up the road after them and had these “jocks” pleading with them not to hit them or call the police. Fannies.

A few years ago these rules used to be ridiculously lame like “only speak in Irish in Pub 1”, “only communicate via text message in Pub 2”, “hold your pint in your bad hand in Pub 3” and so on. But a few barmen have told me this year that these absolute legends are pushing the boat out now - hence the “steal something”, “break something”, “get thrown out” type shit that’s been happening in the last year or two.

These cunts need to be shot.

Also to add to the excitement I think I may have seen @Bandage and @Rocko at lunchtime in the 51
What a treat that must have been.

You weren’t that cunt sitting where you pick up glasses of water who asked his pal if Australia were still dominating England even though SSN was showing action from South Africa against India?

GTFO

You are in your hoop. You’re off it in case you have to do the emergency dash(or lamb her yourself). Sometime on christmas eve your beady eye will hit the stout…

MOK’s used to be a regular haunt of mine, one if the best pubs in Cork.

Glengarrif will be wicked quite, some places won’t be open like The Eccles etc. Bantry will be busier but again is a summer town. You’d get a lot more people on the other penisula like Ballydehob, Baltimore, Skib. Etc or way down to Schull and Crook.

he knows W Cork better than me but jesus Glengarriff is an odd old choice for NYE, itll be fairly bleak down there, utterly savage on a sunny morning but im not sure if that’s yere thing in the depths of winter

No I was sitting behind ye.

Two accountant looking types chatting to the bar man. One with a massive forehead. My only reservation was that rocko didn’t look very Turkish
