Mercury Rev in Whelans sounds like something worth seeing.
Though when the only public event you’ve attended in 20 months was Ireland v Austria, pretty much anything at all sounds amazing in theory.

I saw them in Vicar Street just after the following album came out and it was absolutely fucking brilliant.
Deserter’s Songs is a masterpiece. Christ it even had Levon Helm and Garth Hudson on it. It’s amazing.
