Seen them live, as a 2 piece, a few times and well worth a look. Some fantastic songs.
What did you think? My own view was that they played a couple of bangers but a lot of stuff that you’d hear in the lobby of a trendy 4 star hotel.
There’s a Spanish band on that line up called Vetusta Morla. I would recommend checking them out if you can while you’re there. Pretty decent. I’m going to see them at a random festival in Granada in September.
Sounds like my type of thing.
Yeah, especially the keyboard led songs around the middle. The sax loop was awesome though, really enjoyed that.
The specials next, going to that?
No pal.
Agreed on the sax loop btw.
Booked my hotel flights and tickets to the NOS Alive festival this summer.
I’ll keep an eye out for the guy with tanned muscular legs live posting the concert on tfk.
Make sure to keep TFK updated of everything that’s going on.

The specials were class last night. I was in the seated area but the whole crowd were standing up dancing by the third song.
Dropkick Murphys are ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. Beyond brilliant
Sean O’Hagan is playing a cafe in Dundalk Friday night. Think he’s mainly doing High Llamas stuff. Only found out about it today so picked up a ticket for €12

Think you are mixing them up with The Pointer Sisters.
There was an avalanche of groups of women around the early forties age group marauding through pretend IRA territory yesterday evening. I was baffled for a few moments until I recalled my conversation with @Cesc4 earlier in the day when he told me he was heading to Take That in the 3 Arena last night. Hadn’t seen such a movement of people walking against me since the teenagers were on the march to The 1975 a few months back.
