Vampire Weekend in Trinity was very very good, although obviously not as good as Stereolab. Vampire Weekend fans are all lovely people, all worth talking to.
It’s all hip hop artists this year.
Apparently U.S citizens have been advised to avoid Marlay Park this weekend…
You’d think it would be reggae every year
Who’s them lads?
Interval at Moving Hearts in the nch here. First bit was Donal Lunny and Mick Hanley. God forgive me but I thought Mick had passed away years ago.
I would rather stick forks in my eyes than patronise Donal Lunny.
You stick the forks in your eyes pal. That was a great gig. Apart from Mick Hanley’s oddball interludes. The instrumentals were class. RNLI member Davy Spillane was magnificent on the pipes and whistles.
Off to see Colm Mac con Iomaire in Kilkenny in September.
Colm’s eked out a nice little niche for himself. Him, Carney, and of course Hansard, its nice to see them developing and doing well for themselves.
Burt Bacharach tomorrow night Iveagh Gardens.
Any haters can Walk on By.
This Guys In Love With You
Robert Mizzell at the McWilliam Park hotel in Claremorris tomorrow night. Has the makings of a Savage gig.
Great artist in his day but I’ve given up going to see performers who are in their 90s.
@flattythehurdler faves The 4 of Us playing in Armagh on this stage for free this evening. Brian Kennedy headlines tomorrow. I won’t be seeing either
