Gigs coming up

I was at it. I had a good time. The atmosphere was great, the crowd was basically perfect. I also left on Sunday.

I thought the biggest problem was the huge queue for all the food stands. You shouldn’t have to queue an hour for your fucking breakfast, especially in the rain. Someone told me that they had more stands last year but removed some of them to make room for that “Let’s Eat” or “Just Eat” nonsense.

Some gig last night in the RDS. Grohl is a proper front man.

Unrale. What a show, what a lead singer. Everlong was incredible as was Wheels.

It’s a long time since I enjoyed a gig as much.

A lot of pill popping by Leaving Cert types going on outside Heuston station ahead of the Post Malone concert tonight. Only adding to the already rampant drug abuse that is a daily occurrence there.

Don’t ask me who Post Malone is

He’s a very popular rapper who is playing in the RDS tonight.

I’m glad to hear it. I hardly even felt the rain, thought it added to the show if anything. Magical, great Atmosphere, just a shame about that rockshore piss

Absolute piss.

What sort of a pill would get a lad going at a rap gig?

Rohypnol

Oh wait you said rap

Xanax

As Toby Hedworth said to Paddy Jackson

A non whining Dave Grohl with the late great Willie Meighan in Kilkenny '92 on holiday with his mum en route to Headline Reading after Nirvana’s Nevermind exploded.
