Are Gorillaz not just a cartoon?
They used to be but Damon seems to feature now for the live stuff.
Got tickets for the Limerick gig in December, they’re unreal
Thanks for that heads up. Hadn’t realised there was a second or third gig and had been tasked with sourcing a ticket for an easily disappointed young person.
Just saw third one added now for the Friday
Awful carry on really but got me out of a hole in this occasion. They should really be selling the Friday first.
Seems to be the way they always do it.
I know but it’s terrible making lads drive up from the country mid week for a gig. Typically the people getting these tickets would be “the real fans”
@KinvarasPassion - I’m looking for a handy-sized site to sell off a wagonload of straw hats that weekend?
Just been to see Paul Brady in the opera house. He was nervous at the start, but got into it. An absolute gentleman and all round performer.
I remember about 15 years ago or so I had no problem driving up to a gig in Dublin on my own from Limerick and back the same night. I’d need a lie down now after driving down from Dublin during day.
Went to see The War On Drugs tonight. Had never listened to them before hand. Very good band live.
Going to see them tmrw. Picked up 2 tickets for a nifty off toutless. Bargain.
War on drugs more than daycent tonight but wrong venue. Should have done two nights in. The Olympia
Where was tonight’s gig?
3arena is an awful venue. Can’t begrudge a band being able to fill it but it’s shit.
Saw them in a small venue in Manchester in 2015. One of the best gigs I’ve been at.
Their interplay and musicianship was a highlight. Light show excellent too. Just the sparse crowd dampened the atmosphere a little.
Where did they play? They were on in the O2 in Birmingham and it was rammed.
3 arena.
