Gigs coming up

Heā€™s absolutely incredible, the quality and range of what he does is amazing. Heā€™s like a different person performing with blur, gorillaz or solo.

Third time seeing gorillaz now, always loved their music but theyā€™re a really class live act. The different performers with them on different tours make it really different each time which is class too.

Blur were a better outfit than oasis. More varied, nuanced, and much better lyrics albeit thatā€™s a low bar.

Rubbish,Oasis won that war long ago.

Some might say ā€œthe sink is full of fishes, sheā€™s git dirty dishes on the braaaainā€ is better than anything Damon Albarn has ever written

Theyā€™d be wrong

Neither have I, havenā€™t spent enough time listening to the new album yet

Some write up. Wondered was it just my love of Gorillaz made me think it was so good. Not sure how he didnā€™t get the moonchild sanelly song though, itā€™s a brilliant track.

I probably think it after most gigs Iā€™m at, but that crowd really were up for it

For whatever reason, I never really got into Gorillaz. I do like most of the rest of what Albarn has put his hand to, especially the Think Tank album. TGTB&TQ has some good stuff too.

Out of Time

Itā€™s a brilliant album even though Graham Coxon isnā€™t on most of it. Their last album was a cracker as well in fairness.

It split the critics though.

The normally reliably Stephen Thomas Erlewine of allmusic.com gave it 2 out of 5 - lowest score of any Blur album. Other critics loved it.

Heā€™s amazing, greatest since Bowieā€¦

I think Demon Days was the high point. One of my favourite ever albums Iā€™d say. Itā€™s sensationally good, and different. Itā€™s amazing how album tracks from it that wouldnā€™t have jumped out at first listen or werenā€™t singles are now absolute epics in the live concerts. Same with some of the tracks from plastic beach Iā€™d say.
