She’s 79 and still a striking looking woman. The voice is still powerful. Very enjoyable gig.

Pixies, Prodigy, Undertones (Limerick and Dublin), Stiff Little Fingers all sorted for the coming year, plus Bowies’s band end of Feb in Whelans. Would be interested in a Gorillaz ticket if anyone here has a spare

Boulder to Birmingham is my favorite country song, heartbreaking if they were together which many suspect they were but will never be confirmed.

War on Drugs / Mumford and Sons and Empire of the Sun announced for the summer

67 is on the pricey side
I’d imagine they will be very good though

My older lad’s band have their first gig this weekend. I was dropping him off last week where they were rehearsing and staying over, spotted the gear bag of cans. To be young again.

Not the best setlist I’ve seen from Stereolab but the best gig I’ve seen from them. Phenomenal energy at the Limerick show tonight.

Mostly their new album I assume?

Yeah. But a nice smattering of all timers in there too. LS in fantastic form.

Edit: in retrospect think they did 16/17 tracks. About 8 from new album so a 50/50ish split. Wouldn’t say any more as I hate having setlist details before a show

Just out of Stereolab at the NCH there. Solid owl :owl: gig. 8/10 stuff. Very much the Laetitia show. The trombone solos were a nice touch.
