Giving Blood

How do you know somebody gives blood …

They didn’t do a great job with my mother over 10 years ago. Each bed has a call button if you need attention. The staff on the Ward didn’t do any regular checks on those in beds. My mother needed attention but couldn’t move due to her MND. Left there for the night, ended up with bed soars etc. I know it could happen and does happen from time to time but when it happens to one of your own… you tend to take it to heart.

Donated my 15th donation today. Out of about 50 people down at it, I’d say only about 7 other men donating. Mostly middle aged women.

They say you can tell a lot about a man by the company he keeps.

A single man donates blood, and notices that there are more women than men, and you judge me by that?

Tfk is fubar.

Ah I’m only rising you. You’re a mighty man altogether.

Fair play lad. Something I do regularly enough myself. I must check and see how many times I have donated blood, I’d say I’m up around the 10 mark.

Would a middle aged fella be in any position to get an erection after giving a pint of blood?

It’d be on the sheet you sign on when you first get in pal.

Just got a text that my last lot of blood went to someone in Wexford. If I’d known that in advance I wouldn’t have gone at all.
