Some sanded alright but in great nick. Had forgotten how good that back nine is, we got proper links weather for it, getting battered on some of those holes back into the breeze.
Paid $278 each for the south course and $127 for the north course. North course was in okay condition, south course was a joke, tee boxes beat up, standing in sand most of the time
Its a public course isn’t it? I’d imagine the traffic is non stop on it. Probably only gets love the few weeks before the tour comes
Windy?
The wind last week (mid week) down there was some joke. Not a puff then after Friday afternoon
Where’s that pal?
@Raylan would there be any chance getting out in La Hinch this time of year? Brother is back from Canada and significant birthday etc.
225 quid for october… fire him over to the castle course, it’s only 60 quid and it’s still lahinch
Midweek next week is gettable, but they’re starting new irrigation works from the 16th so there might be holes out of play
Would you have a contact or know a member who could take us out?
Message me there
Big thanks to @Raylan for accommodating us down in Lahinch today, acting as caddy, golf ball finder, tour guide and got us green fees for an absolute song. Some man to stripe a ball as well.
Lahinch is sublime. Immaculate condition for the time of year. Very friendly staff and there is a good aul vibe down there. Easy to see why its top of any list of best golf courses in the country.
Royal Dundalk looking well
It’s not the range there actually, it’s another one just around the corner from me.
The cards are starting to fall.
