Isn’t a major meant to be a test? Joke of a course for professional players

Yep, looking back over the 9th green on Deerpark

I ate a serious feed of chicken wings in there. Didn’t play golf there, mind.

It’s a great spot for the scran.

Grayson Murray dead

He played Thursday and withdrew on the 17th yesterday

That’s one awkward green. No depth.

Played here today off the back tees. Hadn’t been there in years. Too long for me off the back tees but it was in immaculate condition. A far far better golf course than I remember and you must have had a v bad day to give the review above :rofl:

I didn’t play well today but it is an enjoyable spot to play…there was one scratch golfer in our group who reckoned it is a far stiffer test than any of the parkland Irish open courses

How’d you go?

96 strokes … was far too long for me off the blues…I assumed they would stagger the tees in use for the scratch cup but no

Will go back some day soon and play a singles there off the whites id say be far more enjoyable for me

What holes caught you out?

8,9,10 & 16 really add length off Blues. Rest are all doable but you need to find the fairways.

Greens were good this wknd there

Greens were excellent… 8, 9, 10 all v long ya as well as the par 5 teeing off down hill next to road? I’d to lay up before the stream there …18 is long for a par 4… hitting rescue or 5 irons into most of the par 4 makes it v hard I think

18th hole is a brute alright.
17th one before it is a driveable par 4 but not off the blues.
