Was gonna purchase Shuggie Bain for a holiday read as part of a bigger online order, based on recommendations here, but alas they only had the hard-back. So I plumped for The Art of Losing by Alice Zeniter. I’ll update the forum if it is any use.
Reading the Limmy bio at the moment. It’s a funny read.

Would you think somebody from Mallow would be incapable of writing a good book?
I’m also reading a book about Tramore called ‘The Amusements’, I assume that author is from Waterford and it’s very good indeed, lots of individual stories which intertwine, Donal Ryan light I suppose

This is actually really good, I had it on audible and finished it today, highly recommended for anybody but in particular if you’re from Waterford.

Just started World War Z. I thought it would be a load of rubbish. A book about zombies! I’m also not a big fan of fiction (even though I am on TFK every other day), but it’s a good read.
