Yeah it’s decent enough. Think you benefited from the low expectations but it does have a few moments that more than justify the time spent watching it.
Watching As If I Am Not There on RTE now, it’s some fairly harrowing realism set in the war in the old Yugoslavia, not the type of film you’d order a pizza for but excellent stuff nonetheless by Irish director Juanita Wilson. The lead actress Natasha Petrovitc is simply stunning

Went with the kids to Frozen. Very good. Old school Disney. Great songs. Clever dialogue. Plot twists. Visually stunning. 7.5/10.

Watched the Good, the Bad and the Ugly from start to finish today for the first time in years on Netflix. I can only say that it is even better than I remembered.
Watched Argo the other night. Really suspenseful film. I was terrified because I often have nightmares about being chased around some anonymous foreign city but this was a super movie.

I watched Richard II on DVD last night. From the BBC series “The Hollow Crown”.
Watched Nebraska in Cineworld the other day. Excellent film from Alexander Payne (of Sideways, About Schmidt and The Descendants etc). I hereby recommend it.
