Nice one, kid!
Perfect movie if she is a bit squeamish… She will be tucked up in your arms for a number of scenes.

One thing I miss from the pre kids days is regular trips to the cinema to see whatever I fancied
Enjoy it while you can lads
Gonna try the old hole in the bottom of the box of popcorn trick?
His date will probably try it.
This is obviously a subsequent date for Chewy as it would be unusual to go to the cinema on a first date, meal beforehand or not. I’m sure such juvenile acts are not on the agenda.
Wahey.
Dont forget to say surprise chewie
If not a first date it sounds like it’s still early days though.
First date drinks
Second date drinks
Third date dinner
Cinema is a classic fourth or possibly fifth date.

Chewy’s dates invariably start in some shithole Irish bar and end in a brothel so he is not the conventional sort.

I like dinner on the first date, I feel there is much more ambiance in a restaurant to delve into a more profound conversation. Obviously we would have a couple of drinks before hitting the restaurant and then if it goes well a couple of drinks after. After that I find you have a much clearer opinion on the female in question and whether you would like to meet up again. I also feel dinner on the first date is an act of chivalry.
Here’s hoping you get to try your theory out again soon pal. You’re completely wrong though. As is dinner on a first date.
I think we are veering off on a tangent but I assume Thursday is preferred first date option. no football (Europa League doesn’t count) and if needs be can go drinking late but can also make excuses and leave without causing hurt

Chivalry ain’t worth a stocking of shite when, after a multiplicty of chivalrous acts you get the elbow.
Treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen is an old and trusted motto.[/quote]
I’m a dinner man too, pal. Only confident and secure men can pull it off. Most Irish men need copious amounts of alcohol to interact with women at the start.
I doubt @chocolate mice was.
Do you tailor menu choices to impress her/avoid spilling food on your clothes
For example you might avoid buffalo wings/spaghetti bolognaise
There may be a merit in a newdating tips thread
I have a bathroom break theory about dates I will hold for that
No.
Sex on a first date is a big no no. I would like to get the know the lady first and make sure they could really be my soulmate. As I am asexual I do not have any urges to go that route but one must make sacrifices to make a relationship work and that is something I am willing to do for the right lady.
