Good Fillums

Gone girl is a pretty good film let down by a bloody awful ending. Rosalind pike is extremely hot

A light hearted version of Fight club if you will.

I need two shocked, and a chin scratching smiley. Hmmm.

another hipster theory is that Cameron never actually leaves his room

similar one is that Harry Potter imagines Hogwarts and creates an imaginary world to deal with the death of his parents and evil step parents

Of course, both “theories” are a load of wank.

I went to see '71 last night in the Light House. I would really recommend it for anyone who has an interest in the Troubles.
The sense of tension is nearly unbearable in it at times but it is fantastically made. Great performances too.

It got absolutely rave reviews in England.

Have not the time to write out the details but here is Mark Kermode’s review and the review from the Irish Times.

Trust me. Go see it.

Did the ra win, pal?

+1

Was David Holmes in the ra? His soundtrack to this was daycent

Boyhood:clap:
12 years in the making and over 2 and half hours of watching but went by like a light breeze. From the same lad who made Dazed and Confused and the Before Sunset trilogy. If you like them you’ll love this, otherwise probably best to give it a miss. Although his stall is well and truly set out at this stage Linklater is the most daringly ambitious and also the most reassuring film-maker out there today

It took me about 15 years, but I finally got around to watching The Iron Giant

From Brad Bird, the former Simpsons writer and creator of The Incredibles and Ratatouille, this is a a beautiful little animation film. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough to all parents out there. In a time when even PIXAR is struggling badly with their output, this is just perfection.

10/10.

Gone girl- Meh.

Worth a watch at home on a Sunday night if there’s not much else on type of film. 6.5/10

You gimp.

Like the last line of a film review for 1st year English class or something.

Watching the Odd Couple here on Netflix. How many great movies is Neil Simon responsible for?

7

Many. I find him daringly ambitious whilst simultaneously being most reassuring. A great talent.

Nebraska

A brilliant film, wonderfully made
