I sat through it but thought it was poor enough. The Peanutbutter Falcon was a bit better, but not by much.

Watched Dolemite is my name there on Netflix. A very funky movie. Incredible that it’s a true story.
What does a ‘funky movie’ mean?
Recently gave Bad Times at the El Royale a watch, found it to be quite a nice distraction, a bit of overacting, but the likes of Bridges will always be watchable. Dakota Johnson was quite good too, and a decent bit of a thriller to it.
Knives Out is bloody excellent, not sure I’ve mentioned that yet. One of my movies of the year. Outstanding on every level.
It’s full of funk music and the vibe is very mid 70s funk. On the other hand the main protagonist appears to be a black version of Roy “Chubby” Brown.
I enjoyed it, the music was very good in it and it is an easy watch. Cunthia Erivo is a real underrated star.
While on music filsm, I watched Bohemian Rhapsody recently which I thought was fairly meh. Malik was alright in it but nowhere near the tour de forces he routinely gives in Mr Robot.
Rocketman is far superior.
Rocketman is outstanding. There’s hardly a bad beat in the entire thing. Hard to believe Spike from The Press Gang has gone on to be such a director.

May is a cunt, Elton, while a diva, gave Fletcher much more to work with and you got a much better movie as a result.

agreed, there was nothing off the table with elton in fairness to him, whereas may wanted to rewrite history to put him in a good light
also eggsy seems like a decent likeable chap

Some cast there in fairness. Great film.
It’s very watchable with an excellent cast but I wouldn’t go as far as you there, mate. Don’t think I’d ever watch it again which is my barometer for movies.
On a slight side note, Ana de Armas and myself are wildly in love and we’ve decided to elope to get married on a private island where we will see out or days making love on the beach.
