Watching “A Bronx Tale” here. One of my favourite films of all time.

The scene there were Sonny shuts the door on the bikers is brilliant.

Just finished watching joker there on amazon prime. By god. I’d have to say that phoenix lad is the best actor on the planet. What a performance, streets ahead of olivier’s hamlet and right up there with glenshanes peerless TCDDS Macbeth

I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was 12.

Jesus, does anyone?

Stand by me…a classic…

Some of those films I had never heard of never mind the lines.

Are you recently released from prison?

Not recently no.

Went to see the French Dispatch last night.

A very enjoyable film if you like the work of Wes Anderson. Story revolves around a new yorker type magazine of misfit journalists based in France in the mid 20th century and three short stories to be printed in the magazines final issue. As you would expect the stories are elaborate and beautifully put together.

The usual star studded cast and Jason Schwartzman star in it. Well worth seeing on the big screen

Hearing very good things. I’d watch anything (and have) Wes does. I went with a few roaster friends to see The Royal Tenenbaums when it came out. They didn’t like it.

Plenty of nudity in this one too which is unlike him. Tilda Swinton stole the show for me in it.

The second story led by Francis McDormand was watery enough but the other two made up for it.

Random fact. The priest in the Royal Tenebaums is a cousin of mine. The lad that falls down the stairs. A priest in real life and asked him to play a small part in it

I think it’s a great flick. The intro scene is class. Roasters wouldn’t get it for sure
