Mangrove is on tg4 in 20 minutes. Highly recommend watching or sticking it on record
The Manchurian Candidate on BBC4 now. Good movie. Saw it in the Screen cinema on Hawkins St there 30 years ago when Sinatra who owned the rights released it from quarantine which he had put it under for nearly 30 years after Kennedy was shot.
The book was written by a fellow called Richard Condon who wrote it while staying in a big house in South Kilkenny outside Knocktopher.

Nice ending too. I paused it about a minute before it happened and said to the Mrs this is what I reckon will happen. Clearly I’m a joy to watch a film with. Pike is excellent in pretty much everything she’s in.
