I only saw it once and I remember thinking it was historically fairly accurate (obv not 100pc but what is) and not too over the top ooh ah up the ra or too oirish.

Ah stop, Into the West was the greatest load of bollocks committed to film in Ireland, with acting to match. Gabriel Byrne and Ellen Barkins nadir.

Belfast was a lovely movie.
