A River Runs Through It is a truly great film. There’s a nice little doco on YouTube marking the 25th anniversary of it if you do a search.
I’d highly recommend the book of three short stories by Norman McLean that it’s from.

There was an old black and white adaptation of the old man and the sea that I saw many years ago and I think it was very good.
Anybody remember the story that used to be in Victor or Hotspur annuals about the big game fishermen, that was class
The Fabelmans is a nice movie, saw it yesterday. Not sure if it is out in Ireland yet.
It’s semi autobiographical about Steven Spielberg’s upbringing. I had never realised that his father was such a genius.
