Its something else. Must be my 20th time watching this. Its as beautiful as ever.
I watched The Banshees of Innisherrin earlier. The donkey was the best thing in it.
There really should be a Spencer Treacy season done on RTE soon
Keoghan was outstanding
Condon was amazing
Lydon nailed it …
Henry Fonda had some presence.
You want him to be, but he was functional, nothing more.
Just watched Mindcage. Well worth a look.
She’s an excellent actor.
I don’t really care if is or not. But he was. That’s the difference
He wasn’t. He was bang average. Any extra from glenroe would have done just as well.
He just got himself a Golden Globes nomination and likely will get an Oscar nomination but Flatty knows best.
Not a high bar this year. I have an opinion. I think the film, which will also get a heap.of nominations was average. I think the acting, bar the sister, was average. I thought the plot was contrived and the whole thing was too long, and a pastiche of a chapter of Dul. I thought there was little depth, that both the film and the acting were formulaic, and if it was Welsh or Spanish or something, it would pass largely unnoticed, but paddy screams for attention as always, and really doesn’t take criticism.
Did they run acting classes in the Dunstitute?
I can see why people would think the movie is a bit overhyped but if you’re going around calling that performance average then motion pictures aren’t for you.
Meh
It was a film of hidden shallows
Not talking about the film.
I’m saying if you think that performance was “average” then you don’t have any appreciation for the medium.
I can appreciate why Martin McDonagh’s plays and films aren’t for everyone.
I just watched the banshee of Inisheerin
It’s a masterpiece, Barry Keoghan is an outrageously talented actor, I never realised it before
