Got around to Smile over the break, had thankfully missed everything about it, albeit knowing there was a Smile 2 gave away a little. Great premise though and well performed Sosie Bacon who I learned was the daughter of Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon.

Incidentally Sofa is a great little app for logging movies for watching later, case in point I’ve just added ‘Anora’ to it having forgotten about it until the previous post.

Why do you think parents were putting their daughters in these places when they got pregnant? Mainly because of the stigma and shame associated with out of wedlock pregnancy. This ridiculous stigma was created by the Catholic church and their bullshit. The parents were culpable too but the whole toxic culture was created by the church and facilitated by FFG.
