Torrent beginner here-
Why such variability in download speeds?
What’s this swarm, peer, seed malarkey all about?

WB
very basically
the speeds in the torrent vary greatly dependant onn how many seeders (people who have the file or bits thereof) versus the number of leechers (peole who don’t have the file)
i.e the more seeds the faster it will go
so when looking for a torrent look at the number of seeds, more seeds = faster DL
The Wrestler. Great performance from Rourke, not sure its a great film though. Aronofsky is a cunt imo, dont rate him, have never seen shite like The Fountain in my life, self indulgent bollocks.
But back to The Wrestler, not a bad film, Rourke carries the show though, astonishing stuff from him, deserves all the accolades he gets.

Good performance from him alright- saw it last night in the cinema.
Funny though while Mickey is indeed pretty good as Randy, I didn’t really like the story or actually enjoy the film

My sentiments exactly. A poor film that without the performance of Rourke and to a lesser extent Tomei, would just be another self indulgement pile of shitte from Aronofsky.
variability in download speeds as it all depends on seeds(users) who are hosting the files still… the more seeds the quicker you will get the file… peers are other users currently downloading the file… so you may manage to be downloading from some of your peers and others from you depending on who starting downloading the files first and they connection speed

Dont know if i asked already but has anyone ever seen the french movie C.R.A.Z.Y ? great flick with a great soundtrack…
C.R.A.Z.Y is very good alright. French Canadian rather than French CM.
I saw Slumdog Millionaire and thought it was very entertaining and captures the total madness of India/Mumbai very well. I read the book about a year ago and typically Danny Boyle decided to completely re-write the romantic element in the movie just as he did in The Beach. Saying all that I thought the movie was still very very well made and directed - dark and funnny in the right places but I didn’t think it was true Oscar material overall.
Hopefully Danny Boyle starts putting the wheels in motion now for making Porno into a movie. That’s Irvine Welsh’s book about the Trainspotting lads 10 years on (before all the perv’s in this site start asking questions!).

Here Phil, fook off… i got landed with role models last night after my companion to the cinema was late! There’s a few laughs in it but that type of movie has been done to death… Some magnificent breats in it however.
Watch Gone Baby Gone finally over the weekend. Damn fine film, thumbs up to the Afflecks, and of course it had two of the most watchable actors of their generations, Morgan and Ed. Great show.
You think it was a good film, or just some good wrestling scenes flano?
As regards Gone Baby Gone, felt it was a very well made film that ratcheted up the tension very well throughout. Thought the ending was a bit contrived, but for the most part it was a worthwhile show with some fine acting and writing.
The wrestling scenes were top notch. The fact they shoot them at legit wrestling shows makes them even better. The film does stand up on its own though regardless of those scenes. Im not going to go into too much detail just in case some people are trying to avoid knowing too much before seeing it, much like I was.

Thought it was poor enough myself, although Casey Affleck is a powerful young actor and in gone baby gone and the assasination of Jesse James he has shown which one of the Affleck’s has the acting talent…
THought it was fairly formulaic myself Flano and thought the wrestling was very moderate. LoI level if you will

In fairness the Hardcore stuff with the Necro Butcher was fairly spot on and the other matches were above the level of a Hulk Hogan match, you can’t expect Rourke to be able to put on a 5 star match.
