Time for the FAI and Eire to swallow their pride on their partionist stance and go for an All Ireland team under the auspices of the IFA.

It’s essentially, go easy on the lads, they tried very hard. It’s a bit like the old press reports of the Irish swimmers at the Olympics. Ireland had a good day in the pool, nobody drowned.

Ireland are a 32 county representative team… It’s the Orange free state that needs to come on board, mate.

They are not. They represent 26 counties.

However special political laws exists that allows lads from 6 coubty UK declare for the Republic. Which obviously makes sense and is fair enough. However the team does not represent 32 counties

Can people from all 32 counties play for Ireland? - Yes… James McClean said he grew up supporting his country and tho he took advantage of the north at schoolboy to further himself, he always wanted to play for his county and his dream thankfully came through — Would you tell James that he’s not playing for his country?

Northern Ireland is part of the UK, it is a separate country, under the terms of the Good Friday agreement the free state gave up any claims to Northern Ireland. The pretend ira lads can’t get their head around that

James plays for his country the same way John Aldridge did.

And i am completely fine with that. You are what you feel. If those lads feel a connection more to Ireland, on whatever level, and legally can declare fo the Republic then more power to them

mcclean is as irish as Jack Charlton

That’s incorrect

Ok, which of James’ parents were born in Ireland that allows him to play so?

Feel Irish? The good Friday agreement recognizes that they are Irish you simpleton

I feel sorry for John Delaney who has conducted himself with aplomb having his business decisions being subject to the vagaries of MON and his agricultural football.

So what.

I said the Republic of Ireland is a team that does not represent the 32 counties.

Thats an undeniable FACT.

It represents 26.

Does John Aldridge playing for us mean the team represents England as well? Or just Liverpool?

No, Aldridge qualified because his mother’s family were Irish. James McClean didn’t have to qualify for us as he is Irish, which is recognized by the world over - Thus making Ireland a 32 county representative team.

Emma ‘kevin’ Louise – The man himself said he doesnt feel Irish and is constantly shouting down the country — He then has the gall to tell others that they are not Irish - you couldn’t make it up.
