Good to have an eye witness report on this. God knows what the ‘mad bastards’ were heading away so early for. Must have been a banter opportunity elsewhere

He’s walked all day with a spring in his step I’d say

Hi Tony :wave::wave:

They finished 2nd in their group and qualified for a playoff. They qualified for the last Euro championships. They lost 4 games of the last 24 qualifying campaign games. All this with an extremely limited squad of players, probably the most limited squad that I have ever seen. What sort of consistency are you looking for

One that wins at home against the same opposition.

MON is typical of the irish mentality of a “good day every now and that does”

This limited stuff is nonsense. They have shown us they can play. Its complete bollix

The subs he brought on last night were;
A 35 year old championship player
A striker that hasn’t scored a goal in 10 months
A guy that plays for a team last in the championship

Is that not limited?

No it’s not, don’t be ridiculous, the current Irish squad would be mid table championship level.

They beat Italy.
They drew away to serbia.
They beat Austria.

There are no fucking excuses.

They clam up in dublin and thats managements fault

Would Derby beat Italy?

Fuck off with the dumbness now

That shows a lack of consistency

All the more impressive with such a limited squad.

Ffs.

They did it.

Hence they could do it again.

Psychologically they are really poorly prepared regularly.

That Italian team is probably better than mahority of international teams.
