On the IRA episode and i don’t like how they switched immediately from saying the UDA murdered around 400 innocent catholic civilians to reinforcing the IRA were the biggest killers in the conflict.

You’d have to listen to the flow of the conversation. Has happened a few times in the series, any loyalist violence, no matter how wrong has to be immediatel tied to something catholics/civil rights/nationalists did.

Shur, it was a civil war completely out of control by 71/72… i suppose the hope was that they’d be able to contain it somewhat and protect lives … while they ended up being murderous bastards they were still many nationalists best hope of protection against Loyalists and b specials etc etc

I don’t mind prods and i think their strand of Christianity is far superior to Catholicism. But the prods in the orange statelet are a different breed.
