GPA investigate plight of departed Clare hurlers following squad 'humiliation'

TWO PLAYER LOOKING FOR A NEW HOME. ONE OWNER. PLEASE TAKE THEM

Essentially the entire Clare panel is under quasi curfew/house arrest? Not allowed to show their faces after dark?

It’s completely deranged. There’s a bizarre strain of morality and “commitment” that runs through the GAA.

What are Clonlara and Eire Og saying about this or are they complicit in this shite as well by their silence?

That’s a laugh. The GPA to investigate:rolleyes:.

Clare: Nul Points

None of their business

:popcorn:Davey is seething, so he is

The lads over at Clare Roasters are rattled and have banned guests from viewing

Hardly surprising given the identity “high-profile” player who escaped the punishment dished out to the others.

Who was it?

Send them up to us joseph

Tony Kelly went drinking after the Fitzgibbon anyway.

Have ye heard the one about the day Davy, while in charge of Waterford, went to Cork to the All Ireland hurling fresher final and after UCC won went into the pitch and took 2 of the UCC lads away for training in Waterford!
After missing the celebrations they get to train more.
This guy is the greatest bluffer to ever grace a sideline.

He could well have done, but it’s not Kelly that the dropped players are referring to. In fact, he’s a clubmate of one of them which makes it a bit more surprising.

Recently resurrected posters like TAN and Kiddiechoc (following Clare’s first win in a year) know the score but are keeping shtum.

The Irish rugby team most likely had a night out in Cardiff on Saturday. Premiership soccer players on 100k a week were out in London in on Saturday night. Yet it’s not acceptable for young amatuer players to even stick there head outside the door for a few hours of a Thursday night? If it was a proper squad where the players were trusted there would be no need to ban them from going out.

Name the player please, mate. It’s not as if you personally or TFK can be sued if your information is incorrect.

“An internet poster said that I went out to the pub, Judge. I had no option but to take this case to defend my good name. How dare he say I was socialising?”

+1. It’s obscene in some quarters. I’ve even seen senior club teams have alcohol bans from January/February up until the first championship match in May. Bizarre stuff.

Precisely. Its lunacy. FWIW Irish players themselves admitted having pints the night after beating England. GAA managers are fucking mental.

Can the Intercounty Players Association intervene in the case if the lads aren’t IC players anymore?

J1, anyone?
