Graeme Souness

lets hope he doesnt hear the words to the super trouper song

yes, there was a lot of anti monarchy songs at ibrox too

Who were the away fans at Ibrox last weekend?

woah mate, this was a rangers event, the buck stops with them

why hasnt he commented on the Scotch fans booing?

Does he have to comment on it? Booing by anyone in the Scotland soccer community of Her Late Majesty is just beyond the pale. Quite apart from a lifetime of selfless service and public duty, Her Majesty was the long serving Patron of the Scottish Football Association.

well if he only comments on the fans of the team he hates of & doesnt comment on the fans of the team he likes when they both did the same thing, it weakens his point

Why do you say Souey hates Glasgow Celtic?

Glasgow Celtic are the only League of Scotland club that I’m aware of, who’s fans have unfurled all these highly offensive and hate filled banners directed at Her Late Majesty and the Royal Family over the past week or so.

There was a clip posted above of him from his Rangers manager says conducting a dressing room chant of sectarian dirge The Billy Boys and encouraging back room members / subs to join in. He seems to be a particularly nasty orange bastard whose opinions should be discarded. I’ve no time for sectarianism at all. Despite that, the Murderpool fans on here think he’s infallible even though he aligned himself with The Sun newspaper post Hillsborough and is reviled for that.

interesting choice of words

How do you feel on a personal level about a minority element of the Scotland soccer community booing and jeering their recently deceased Patron and Head of State?

@Bandage ignore that deflection after answering in good faith

Souey on the ball again.

The Glasgow Celtic and Shamrock Rovers crew on here really need to front up and apologise. Only @Bandage can hold his head up in that regard really.

Ah I’d say she’ll get over it!

Good to see Celtic standing their ground here refusing to condemn the conduct of the fans. The Shamrock Rovers quislings should take note.

You condone the conduct of those yobs?

The miserable, moany prick has been dialling it in his lifetime.
Rambling off track and thinking to himself that he’s God’s gift to punditry.

The Scotland international team support would have a huge SNP element to it. Ian Blackford clarifies that it was Dundee United booing at Ibrox. Dundee would be a big SNP stronghold. It’s quite a brave move for Ian Blackford politically to speak out and condemn these yobs. It could damage him politically, but on a moral level, such carry on has to be condemned. Glasgow Celtic really need to front up in the way Shamrock Rovers did and just apologise.

The SNP MP joined most sensible, respectful Scots in condemning the actions of the minority of republican louts who have trashed the country’s reputation.

The SNP’s Westminster leader has risked upsetting his party’s care support by saying he was “sickened” by Scottish football fans who ruined tributes to Queen Elizabeth.

Ian Blackford was appearing on Sky News with Kay Burley when he was shown a photo of Celtic fans holding up the infamous banner at St Mirren on Sunday during the minute’s applause for the late monarch. It read: “If you hate the Royal Family, clap your hands.”

There were similar scenes at Ibrox the previous day when some Dundee United fans chanted an offensive song during the minute’s silence, while even the minute’s applause at Hampden on Wednesday night was disrupted by loud boos and jeers from elements of the Tartan Army.

To his great credit, Mr Blackford refused to sit on the fence and said: "Nobody wants to see things like that and people ought to be respectful for what was the death of the Queen. Not only the death of the Queen but a mother, a grandmother and a great-grandmother.

“You know, people ought to behave in a responsible manner, it simply isn’t right and that is not something that we want to see…”

Burley then interrupted to say the Celtic fans had “put a lot of thought” into their childish display at Paisley’s St Mirren Park and branded it “disrespectful”.

Mr Blackford agreed: “It’s sickening Kay and it’s not something that anybody wants to see. We’ve spoken in the past about the lack of respect in our political discourse and when you see things like that it does show we’ve got some way to go. It needs to be called out and I absolutely unreservedly call it out this morning.”

The Ross, Skye and Lochaber MP has joined the rest of the SNP leadership in paying glowing tributes to the late sovereign, who died at Balmoral on Royal Deeside on September 8 at the age of 96.

He has also been effusive in his praise for King Charles and insisted that a separate Scotland would retain the monarch as the head of state in a blow to the large and influential republican wing within the SNP.

His comments this morning also risk upsetting vast swathes of SNP voters and other nationalist supporters who wish to exercise their right to protest during a tribute to the death of an elderly lady.

Shamrock Rovers are trying to capture the woke floating fan currently following the Bohs.
