Did I hear it mentioned during the World Cup last summer, that in four World Cups Ronaldo has never even scored a goal (or possibly a goal from open play) in the knock out stages of a World Cup.
To be fair things were harder then . They had Real Madrid and Moscow those years . Not easy . These were knockout games . Also there was probably corruption and the Italian and European soccer establishments hated the city of Naples .
What Maradona did for Napoli and Argentina far outweighs anything ever done by any other footballer.

This guy is something else. I heard him on a podcast with Duncan castles last month and he was waffling on about reading texts sent from the Barca president sent to messi and this sort of thing. It’s remarkable anybody takes him seriously.
