Grand Slam Saturday

Right, what’s everyones plans for this Saturday? Plan on watching proceedings in McSorleys I think, looks like it will be an all day job for me.

Anyway the order of proceedings is as follows:

Portsmouth Everton 12.45
Fulham v Man Utd 15.00

and then the big one:

Newcastle v Arsenal 17.45

Don’t like the way everyone is calling it Grand Slam Saturday, just another indication of how overhyped the EPL has become but doesn’t matter, they’re all big games at this stage of the season anyway.

You could hang on and the Bernard Dunne fight that evening as well then Tinnion

I will start off Friday by continuing Resident Evil5 and maybe Army of Two on Friday night, then up early and down to the club for a spot of golf.
Then a steak sambo and discuss why my team could not hit a ball to save their lives. Then home, wrestle the remote off Mrs GSH and watch Ireland hockey Wales.
Then maybe back to the club to continue my tirade off abuse.
It all depends on xbox Friday and how that goes. I’m sure its the same for everyone else on here.
Yours etc,
GSH.

Serious weekend in prospect, still trying to find a cheap way of getting to Wales, if that proves impossible I’ll just watch it at home. No interest in any of Saturday’s Premiership games, all the favs will win.

I’m still undecided, tinnion. I need to do some more research to find out what pubs will be showing the game and I’ll draft up a list tomorrow evening probably and then choose the best one. It’s obviously a critical game given we’re still in 6th position, 2 points off that all important Champions League place, and it’s going to be very difficult too given the injuries and suspensions have continued to mount up. But Roma will be ready for the game, of that I’m sure. It promises to be a cracker though and I’m very interested to see how Giovinco plays for Juventus too.

Frazers could be the shout, or whatever the fuck it’s called now

Can anyone reccomend a good pub, ample sized screen, amply interested crowd, ample seating, ample chested barmaids, to watch the rugby in tomorrow?
Would like chosen pub to be within easy reach of the Point/O2 as am heading to the Bernard Dunne fight straight after.
The Oarsman in Ringsend has been mentioned, as have a few places in the Lansdowne Road area.
Any opinions?

Rugby, GAA and Boxing watching all day. Then more GAA on the Sunday.

Showing your true multi sport Corkman pedigree there Turrene, enjoy the weekend.

would’nt recommend the oarman gola, try ocean bar or the ferryman, both close to the sean o’casey bridge and should have decent enough crowds, dunno about the ample chested barmaids
