The first scene is the original from LA takedown which Mann would later remake under the title Heat!
Thatâs class, had never seen that before. How do you think that scene compares to the remake?
Tremors was on 3E last night. I love that film, and this is the best scene in it.
I especially love when the camera pans back to reveal the gun wall after Burt and Heather run out of ammo after the first few shots.

Well since Mann was over both the script is pretty much the same,to be honest i think the original does a better job at pulling off this scene as the two big boys in Heat seemed to be trying to out act each other!LA takedown is actually good i think the whole thing can be viewed on youtube.
I find Pacino to be far too Ricky Roma in the âHeatâ scene. De Niro is good though.
