It could have gone either way in the end. We were due one. We’ll take it. Delighted for them.
I felt Downey made the wrong decision retiring so fast after last years final but in hindsight it was the correct and bravest thing to do.
We’ll never know for sure but she has to be complimented for her decision. I don’t know who decided to go for goal with the penalty but that was a match winning decision. It’s all decisions on the day. All during the match we were taking points when goals were on.
