A proper sporting picture, in every sense
The aftermath of the Irish league under 14 Cup semi final. The Rovers player, Kian Dignam scored a last minute equaliser, but Wexford prevailed on penalties. Kian lost his mam to cancer last year.
His national team mate, Cian Nolan, scored the decisive winning goal in the shootout for Wexford, sought him out and consoled him after the game.
Like I said, a proper sporting picture.
