Sarsfields of Galway beat Loughgiel Shamrocks yesterday evening to claim back to back All Ireland Senior Camogie titles emulating the heroics of their hurlers in winning 2 in a row. The girls managed this feat in the same calendar year having beaten Oulart the Ballagh just in March. Having appeared in 6 finals in 7 years, Sarsfields have won 3 from 6.

Hopper is some yoke too. Living in a house with 7 women can’t be easy so I’d imagine the camogie was a great outlet. His wife is a Kinvara woman, a former Irish hockey player along with being an accomplished camogie player.
