A hobby is going for a jog or knitting or nightswimming if you’re a bit of a freak. People pay good money and travel long distances to watch the likes of Sarsfields camogie team. If they miss training on a couple of occasions they’re benched. With a hobby you can leave it for a while. Just cos they don’t get paid doesn’t mean it’s a hobby.
