Tonsorial matters, when reported from leafy Didsbury, invariably included a brief report of some pleasant exchanges with, I’m fairly sure Nicola as distinct from Nicole but I’m open to correction on this.
I had a fleeting vision of Nicola which differed somewhat from the ball carrying lassie pictured. An image featuring a country girl unloading lambs from a trailer at the mart in Tullamore sprang to mind at this point.
