Green Shoots - How Michael Noonan ended the recession

I did. It never really slowed down much, but the last few weeks I’ve noticed an exuberance creeping back in. Pubs wedged on Thursday nights, not being able to get a booking in restaurants midweek. Apparently traffic is getting worse in the mornings as well. All good signs

The traffic must be a killer for you alright

The ballsy lads have started buying houses again

The pussies who decamped to Australia and America when the rest of us were busy getting our green jerseys dirty will be skulking back to Ireland soon. Wankers.

@Chewy and @Runt, why do ye love FF so much?
Is it family history? Or a political affiliation ye came to on your own?

With TWCB/TASE leading the charge.

Simple economics, most of the time when FF were in power things were great. Since FG have been in power it’s been cuts and taxes followed by more cuts and taxes.

This had nothing to do with there being a massive worldwide economic recession and the fact the Irish economy was in the shitter when they came into office?

Recession is also officially over in Cork posters will be glad to hear. Cork City Council have started advertising yet again.
