After a frost for a week it would take 3-4 days for the ground to thaw fully, there was never a chance of tonights card going ahead.

I see Confident Nestor and Whatsupjack both won last night in the Leger, the Joker is out, ran very poor. He’s finished. Let him off to stud now.

My tip for the Comerford Cakes, Simple Class, was a non-runner, despite being backed into 12/1 from 16/1 during the week and even moved with Powers into 12’s yesterday. I have no doubt he’d have made the final had he been well enough to turn up. The heat was only won in 28.79 and trap 2 was very slowly away. He’d have gave them socks in the final as well.
