You will need to go to Kilkenny.
The major bookies donât bet on âregionalâ meetings. Generally only Harolds Cross and Shelbourne and a few of the big sweeps around the country.
You could probably get the name of the dog via IGB.ie by searching for the name of the trainer and then checking his dogs.
I have just actually found the name of the dog, doing exactly that.

I got a call to say the dog had won so went back to collect. Your man looked at me like I had two heads and told me they donât take bets on Clonmel.
I had to argue with him to get my initial stake back. It would have been worse if the dog had been beat and they would have kept my dosh.
