What news on the Tower in Ballybrood?

(Night of the stars)The hare broke down on the tenth race.A poor performance by the igb considering they ran out of four kinds of beer and people coudnt even get money out of the broken atm machine.A trademark night like that should not have had as many flaws.Fair play to sparta maestro for his performance on a return from injury.Disapointed in Odyssey should have nearly won it from where he was. On another note some of the best looking women at the track in a long time.Nearly as entertaining as the dogs.

And the best part was getting in chips from Marsellas on way down…

A good concept but a few people need a kick in the arse all the same after what was a showcase night. Only through honest criticism can the industry go from strength to strength. The beer situation was crazy and should not have happened. Also the ATM should be full to the brim on a night like that, it was empty by the second race and possibly earlier! The money should be pissed out to the punters to keep everything ticking over. The hare breaking will happen but the recovery should be a hell of alot quicker surely. A few more English raiders would have been nice but the prizemoney was top class and it was a great night’s racing.

Alarmingly I believe there were no bookies at Harold’s Cross at all on Saturday night!

Since when do they race at the X on Saturdays?

I can’t post on greyhoundnuts, i can log in alright but can’t post. Can’t send PM’s either. If one of ye are posting on there can ye mention it to Tom Brett or alternatively anyone from there that lurks here can ye mention it. Thanks.

It came about one evening when i gave him my IP address so i could view the stream from Curraheen Park during the Laurels but the IP i was using at the time was an Aussie IP that i needed for something covert at the time. When i reverted to my normal IP then i had lost all my posting privileges for some reason. Not sure how it has happened but i need to log on to ask something.

Hennesys dog won the comeford cakes last night . big shock . Although in a serious chat with the local greyhound guru yesterday morning he suggested in no uncertain terms that if any dog could cause an upset it would have been him.

Did you see the hop that the pasradise dog took? oh lord thats racing!

Sure he knows nothing. I went to no universtity. I went to the university of life!

Aparently aswell the dog was sold before the race took place.

What dog? Did you ring that woman yet?

Hennesys dog was sold before the race even started

Did you ring the woman more importantly.

They race at the X on Saturdays every December.

Thanks mate, I’ve been on edge for 2 weeks waiting for an answer

WRONG.

It was his brother, Leamaneigh Story, who was sold prior to the race.

Seamus Farrell has died. SS**, is this the same fella who was standing at SPK up until very recently and was wearing the stupid hat we were laughing at on the night of stars? Or would this have been his auld fella? Because the fella i am thinking of wouldn’t have been that old and as i say i saw him only just over a month ago at the dogs, would be in his mid sixties i suppose.

Yeah it’s his old fella mate. There was a minute’s silence for him at the X tonight.

Not sure if i remember the auld fella at all, the good news man was saying he was standing at SPK until “very recently”.
