Greyhounds Matters 🐐 - Supporting Rural Ireland

Well Dunph, havent gotten my copy yet.

What great breeding feats does matt bruton get into this week. What did they make of the FastTrap last week. Whats the word for the Desmond Cup… Is there any mention of the Chubbys Accord runner in Glin this weekend…

Also could you let me know what they made of soundmanpaddy being fastest up in Liscannor last week?

Surely they will come to TFK for quotes on the updates on Soundmanpaddys toe (?) injury…

I got sidetracked soon after buying it Hangblaa and only had time to read a preview for the next round of the laurels and the results of the sales auction in Cork. I will have a proper look through it some time later on hopefully.

They tried, but I informed them at any updates on the status of soundmanpaddy would be broken exclusively on TFK. The updates will then be syndicated to them along with all other major new channels.

Proper order.

This Runt fella knows how to turn a few quid and run a media organ. He’ll make a terrific ICC chairman one day.

We got exactly what we wanted out of our bitch this morning, she was beaten 3 lengths and came out of it injury free, hopefully this will stand to her for Saturday night.

fill your boots

Has the draw for the next round of the Laurels been made yet?

Kiowa Myth won the heat of death last Saturday night. Tyrur Geovanni also advances.

Bar Blackstone won again, while Boherna Best nearly went out.

Anything look decent in the trial stakes?

MAD was the only one from here in attendance I think and he is currently out of the country. I’m sure he will oblige on his return.

I think he posted up an account of the desmond cup somewhere. Great sport altogether apparently.

There’s a report in the Coursing Social Group you founded.

Coursing Social Group, what is this ?

On Glin, I was away last weekend so missed out but was getting updates on the progress of Stiff Test, as we have one from Candys next litter to Multibet for next year. Stiff Test and Shannonvale Matt were absolutely booting it up the field on the clocks, Stiff Test 3rd round clock, According to my clock man, was only bettered all weekend by Wallace Greens 2nd round run in the desmond. But he got a hunt at the end of it and was bet in a slow enough time in the 4th round, weighing about 100lb he is a monster. One for the notebooks. Shannonvale Matt was also very impressive and also one to note. Teh winner Gallys bridge was a bit of a fairytale, as a member of the syndicate passed away late last week just prior to his dog going to slips. Then in a 64 dog stake he had to go back to slips after a no course in the 1st round, what a performance.

Matthews took the cup, no course in the final between his two dogs, but the both qualfied for there semi’s after going back to slips. Wallace Green was the impressive one all weekend, so expect him to pick up a few cups.

King Saunders goes in Ballyheigue this weekend, and is priced 6/4.

Any report from the Laurels Dunph?

we safely negotiated the first round in Limerick anyways. Happy with the run. A night of rough races and rougher bookmakers!
