Buying a big souped up weapon of a yoke must be incredibly frustrating. No wonder they talk about it all the time. All that pent up frustration of having 300bhp and not being able to use it. I can go from nought to the speed limit in minus 2 seconds… ya then you have to slow down… wanker.
I’d say it’s like being the only asexual at the orgy in terms of frustration (@Cicero_Dandi)
*I picked 300bhp not knowing whether this is a good amount of bhp
Remember when boy racers were a thing A mate of mine spent about €10k on his piece of shit and ended up selling it for about €3k when he was finished. Which was less than the car itself would have been worth if he never changed it.
6 cd changer in the boot, unnecessarily big speakers, a spoiler that served no purpose, led lights underneath that sort of nonsense.
Mate of mine spent 15k on a Twin Cam he imported from Japan. He had to sell it again within 6 months. Couldn’t afford to keep it on the road. He had to put some special fuel in to it and it cost over 2 euro a litre… was a lovely car though.
I’m sure there was a few lads from Clonlara that were always flying around Shannon Banks / Parteen /Ardnacrusha area back in the mid 00s — maybe a bit before your time but Barry’s Cross used to have all sorts pulling up there at weekends.
