No they don’t. That’s the fun of it! If someone says “how come you didn’t dress up tonight?”, you can “I did”. They ask “what are you dressed as?”. You say “A rapist”. Or maybe you could say “a potential rapist”. Have a bit of rohypnol in the póca, and away you go. Or you could hang around outside asking drunk women if they want a lift home. That would be a scary experience for them I imagine. It is Halloween after all…

There’s a guard neighbour of mine from back home and his demeanour/approach is the exact same as Meaney in Intermission. It’s got him into trouble with his bosses down the years and he’s had to cut it down a lot. We could do with more like him. Honest out and a sound enough, good intentioned bloke.
