Harty Cup 2011

I see paddy power have a market up for outright winner of the premier schools hurling competition. It is as follows:
ASL - 11-8
St. Flannans - 7-4
Thurles CBS - 6-1
Our Ladys Templemore - 6-1
Nenagh CBS - 10-1
St. Colmans - 11-1
Midleton CBS - 12-1
Charleville CBS - 14-1

I dont know if they are going 1/2 the odds on the place, but midleton cbs is massive value at 12s. They have a right good chance of beating our ladys tomorrow, and then play winners of nenagh or charleville in semi.

…

You’re encouraging paedos to fuck??

Administrators in CBS’s didnt need encouragement Runt.

All we need now is for the Schools Rugby thread to be set up, a few Minor football and hurling threads as well and we’ll be sorted for our young people discussions for the year threads.

24 page Schools’ Cup pull out in today’s Independent, I believe. Saturday’s edition said it was due anyway.

Heard the great T Ward advertising it on the wireless last night, I thought Sid would have the thread set up by now to be honest.

I’d imagine he is waiting for a thread to be setup elsewhere first

ASR match has been postponed i believe

I believe so puke. Please god a couple of cork schools will go through tomorrow.

Sticks and stones tase. For a man who prides himself on all things anti gaa,its amazing you cant simply ignore these threads rather than feeling compelled to reply.

I’m having a punt on Midleton, they are fantastic odds for them, they are better than Colemans, and could easily be better than all 3 Tipp schools.

Its between Flannans and ASR though i would suggest, still the CBS could make the final, and then you never know.

we’ll see tomorrow. our ladys are decent and it will be a good test for them. i think we have a very talented team and in lehane we a matchwinner.

Any have the other scores???

Also here is a piece of trivia…Who was the last player to play both harty cup and senior I/C championship hurling in the same year?

midleton lost by 4 pts.

Tommy Guilfoyle

no, although it is fair to say that Guila-gorilla is special alright…Said player did hurl for Flannan’s

midleton our ladys was a draw

Flannans beat Colmans 4-13 to 2-10 apparently.
