You’d think I’d have learned from the abuse of the tagging system before but I’m going to give tags one more try. This time via the medium of hashtags.

So if you want to use a #hashtag in any post, just do it like you would on twitter and there will be trending lists and whatever else is appropriate.

There’s a difference between tags on a thread (which are fine) and hashtags (which are bent and cringe-worthy outside of twitter)
